The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Wonderful ambience, great service and food was delicious. We had the cheese soufflé, butternut squash soup to start, Goose and Turkey Shepherds Pie, haddock and chips and risotto for our main courses. Friendly service and we were in and out in an hour and a half, in time for a theatre matinee at 2pm.

Our first time visiting Sticks’n’Sushi during a weekend away and we thoroughly enjoyed. Just a shame there isn’t a restaurant closer to our home.

Voilà un vrai pub anglais comme on les aime. Très peu de touristes, une ambiance chaleureuse, une bâtisse d'un autre âge mais très jolie. Les bières sont bonnes, bien évidement !! Concernant la nourriture, c'est le meilleur repas que j'i pu prendre à Londres - des mets inhabituels avec des assortiments de gouts audacieux mais justes, des cuissons parfaites, tout était très bon. Et pour couronner le tout, un choix de vins limité mais très bien pensé, à des prix somme toute corrects. Allez y sans hésiter (mais pensez à réserver)

Absolutely outstanding Steak and ale pie was about as perfect as you can get..the steaks were flavoursome and perfectly cooked The apple toffee pud beautiful Could not recommend this pub/restaurant more Thanks to the good people of the fox and pheasant for a top notch lunch!!
