First visit, but will have to find a reason to go again. Excellent food - vibrant flavours and colours and really fresh tasting. Great, friendly service. Only points deduction is for the noise level due to hard bare walls.

We love coming to Kettners. It’s an oasis of calm in busy London. Service was not as good as usual. Had to keep asking for drinks and top ups of water. Portions small. But we come for the atmosphere and very relaxed setting. It’s a tradition we hold to always meet at Kettners, but would love a little more bang for our buck. We will be back as it’s great. Preferred the food when the previous chef was in charge. French food doesn’t need to be fussy and expensive.

Amazing ambiance and great service. Food was nice but not outstanding. Had the beef shin ravioli with the beef fat crumb, that actually tasted like scraps from the fish and chip shop which overpowered the taste of the beef shin. Fantastic wine list.

I’ve had a lot of steak in London, but this one? Easily the best. The Highland sirloin was cooked to perfection—that 2001 R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Rioja? Stunning. Aged beautifully, balanced, and a perfect match for the steak. It wasn’t just the steak—the entire set menu was fantastic. Service was friendly and professional, but there was a small hiccup with the bill. OpenTable’s wording made it seem like I had already paid in advance, so I was caught off guard when I was presented with the bill. I asked the waiter, and the manager came over to clarify that I hadn’t actually paid yet. They were completely right, but OpenTable’s phrasing could be much clearer. All that aside, this was an outstanding meal, and I’d absolutely go back—especially for that steak and Rioja.

His attentiveness and thoughtful recommendations made our dining experience even more enjoyable. He ensured that each course, from starters to dessert, was delivered seamlessly, checking in regularly to make sure we were well taken care of and fully satisfied. The service at Bacchanalia truly elevated our meal, making for a memorable and enjoyable evening. The combination of warm hospitality, knowledgeable staff, and impeccable service makes it a dining experience worth returning to.
