The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list. Gaucho had a special deal where they offered guests a free 2 course meal and you only paid for drinks, service charge. We had a lovely meal (fish and steak) which tasted great. Staff were attentive from the minute we arrived at restaurant. An enjoyable lunch!

An unusually impressive restaurant. As a double Michelin you know the food will be exceptional, and it is - amazing work M. Bosi. But it’s the entire team and service level (professional, friendly, knowledgeable and unpretentious) that makes this venue a stand out. Quirky deco surroundings, great and diverse wine cellar and cute nods to Michelin throughout. A wonderful, memorable and delicious evening. Highly recommend.

A wonderful dinner for our honeymoon / first wedding anniversary. We’ve always wanted to come to Bibendum and we were so pleased that it was as lovely as we had hoped. We had the Bibendum burger which was delicious. Great service and a lovely little treat for our anniversary. Thanks!
