The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list. As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. If it does turn a little chilly, there are also some luxury blankets… Enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks at Bibendum.

Francesco took very good care of us. There were eight of us and half were children and were well accommodated with activities and a very good children’s menu. We all ordered steaks and were very pleased with the quality and execution. My only negative were the chips which were a bit cold and dry.

I love this restaurant. It has all the feel of a simple trattoria down to the black and white photos of Italy and Early 60's romantic background music. Superb authentic dishes (tripe, oxtail) in a n unburdened menu. Great Italian wine list - several available by carafe as well as whole bottle.. Some dishes to die for. Not cheap - but hey it's Knightsbridge.

Absolutely outstanding Steak and ale pie was about as perfect as you can get..the steaks were flavoursome and perfectly cooked The apple toffee pud beautiful Could not recommend this pub/restaurant more Thanks to the good people of the fox and pheasant for a top notch lunch!!
