Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! Very delicious food at reasonable price with attentive service and cosy ambience. There were two tables celebrating birthday during our meal, all staff just came out and sang for celebrants, such warm mood in the restaurant. Our server Fabrizio was very friendly and we are grateful that he took good care of us. Must come again soon!

Lovely venue. Warmly greeted and shown to our table. We were the first and ambience was extremely quiet. A good display of sandwiches both iriginal and vegetarian. Felt the sandwiches was made in advance as the bread had crusted. We ate them anyway. Cakes were lovely but small portions. But my friend and I had a lovely time catching up.

Absolutely outstanding Steak and ale pie was about as perfect as you can get..the steaks were flavoursome and perfectly cooked The apple toffee pud beautiful Could not recommend this pub/restaurant more Thanks to the good people of the fox and pheasant for a top notch lunch!!
