The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list. Lovely laid put restaurant and bar areas with cosy corners. Fantastic views of the Thames. Scrumptious food and our waitress was e tremendous attentive and helpful. Enjoyed this visit immensely.

Very delicious food at reasonable price with attentive service and cosy ambience. There were two tables celebrating birthday during our meal, all staff just came out and sang for celebrants, such warm mood in the restaurant. Our server Fabrizio was very friendly and we are grateful that he took good care of us. Must come again soon!

Atmospheric location and cosy environment. The choice and quality of the food was very good but it was the service that was excellent. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive.
