The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! Voilà un vrai pub anglais comme on les aime. Très peu de touristes, une ambiance chaleureuse, une bâtisse d'un autre âge mais très jolie. Les bières sont bonnes, bien évidement !! Concernant la nourriture, c'est le meilleur repas que j'i pu prendre à Londres - des mets inhabituels avec des assortiments de gouts audacieux mais justes, des cuissons parfaites, tout était très bon. Et pour couronner le tout, un choix de vins limité mais très bien pensé, à des prix somme toute corrects. Allez y sans hésiter (mais pensez à réserver)

We really enjoyed our visit to EFES. As always we received a warm welcome, without exception the team here are very friendly and attentive. The food was great, and our daughter the Birthday girl received a piece of chocolate cake, accompanied by the whole team singing and clapping to make the occasion extra special. Looking forward to visiting again with our friends in December.
