Mrs. Fish is a subterranean Japanese restaurant lounge providing the perfect gathering place for after-work libations, pre-theater bites or full dining experiences. *Walk-ins after 10:45pm must be 21+ with ID*Valet Parking is offered Tuesday – Saturday for $13.00 Cash, $14 Credit Card. *Our Dress Code is Upscale Casual preferred. The restaurant charges a 20% auto-gratuity on all food and beverage items for parties and groups of 6 or larger. Centered in the heart of Los Angeles, the historic building in which it resides was originally erected in 1929 by Charlie Chaplin, and later transformed into the iconic La Brea Bakery and Campanile Restaurant. Our restaurant serves scratch made American Bistro dishes using local a local bakery and local ingredients. We offer seating on our concourse (located in front of the restaurant inside Union Station), the Dining Room, and on our outside Patio in the courtyard. We also serve Traxx Bar, located across the concourse inside Union Station at the main entrance. Traxx Bar hours are M-F 11:30-10pm with kitchen hours until 8pm and Sat & Sun 12-10pm with kitchen hours until 7pm.

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. There are so many "fancy" restaurants in Los Angeles where the food is disappointing, but this was not one of them. Having known about Republique for many years and seeing it on many "best" lists I was prepared to be disappointed, but it met my expectations. My parents and I were very pleased with our meal, the service, and the ambience which is beautiful. It qualifies as one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Los Angeles, and is deserving of its designation as one of LA's top restaurants.

Mandi and the team for afternoon tea were very attentive. They made sure we had an overflowing glass and gave an extra thoughtful slice of cake to celebrate my birthday in the end. Plus every bite of food was perfect. Highly recommend!
