Market Garden Brewery features a 3,000 square foot "American beer garden", three fireplaces, two indoor bars, and private dining space for up to 400. The brewpub features a modern American pub menu featuring local and organic ingredients sourced primarily from our historic neighbor, the West Side Market, and the wonderful farms that dot our community. This dynamic menu is brought to you by our talented chef team. Market Garden is home to a 10 barrel brew house that has brewed up a menu of a dozen beers that span the flavor spectrum from easy drinking session lagers to big beasty ipas and porters. Noted brew master Andy Tveekrem, formerly head brewer at Dogfish Head, is at the helm. We also carry an exciting guest beer list highlighting the ever-changing American craft beer scene along with an extensive liquor & cocktail program focused primarily on American whiskies and spirits from the nation's top Micro-distilleries. Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Joseph Fall, the executive chef, oversees the food operations and is responsible for our crafting our signature dishes and creating daily specials. There are several wines by the glass to choose from and the wine list has nabbed an Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator. There is piano music in the bar featuring Mike Petrone Monday-Friday, and Cliff Habian on Saturday evenings.

    This was the best night out in awhile. The ambiance was everything we could have asked for. Dark and moody with low ambient light and REAL candles. A library even. It was cozy and intimate, sexy and sultry. The dishes were amazing the drinks were even better. Service was great and we were greeted with complimentary shots to start our evening. We Will definitely be going back!

    First time at Blue Point and the food, drink and service were great. We aren't huge seafood people but ordered lobster based on our servers recommendations and do not regret it. We had an 8:30 reservation and the place remained full until we left 90 minutes later which speaks volumes for the restaurant. Only thing we didn't care much for was the margarita which came in a tall pint glass and was very much a sugary mix, otherwise recommended and we will be back.
