Traxx Restaurant and Traxx Bar are located inside beautiful, historic Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles. We are a semi-fine dining restaurant with a casual attitude and relaxed atmosphere. Our restaurant serves scratch made American Bistro dishes using local a local bakery and local ingredients. We offer seating on our concourse (located in front of the restaurant inside Union Station), the Dining Room, and on our outside Patio in the courtyard. Open for indoor and outdoor dining and curbside takeout. Outdoors dining is subject to the weather. We have heaters but not for all tables. Please dress warmly. If there is a chance of rain we will have to cancel.Shiro has been named the Zagat Guide's number one restaurant and is consistently one of the highest rated establishments in the guide (#5 in 2011; #2 for service in 2013). Shiro is summed up by it's ingredients. Menu items are driven by the best available, nothing less is acceptable. For over 35 years, diners have enjoyed our French and Pacific Rim inspired menu. Fourth time coming here, it was my best friends birthday so we were celebrating! Waited a little over 10 mins for someone to help our table, ordered flights and appetizers which was overall excellent! Deviled eggs and spinach artichoke dip is always a must here. I personally had the southern fried chicken with brisket and it was delicious! Got my cream corn and Mac n cheese for my sides and they never disappoint. Ordered a cornbread to go but it was a little dry :( , our waitress was the best and they even gave us a cornbread as complimentary for attending us late. Thank you , we’ll be back!

Comfortable and casual (with a capital "C" for each). Absolutely loved the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. -- and the choice of jazz as ambience was well chosen.
