Wonderful local place with great food. The owner is terrific as is the bartender/waiter. The owner even offered us a ride back to our hotel if our ride didn’t show up.

We love Calistoga for its thermal waters! Lovina was such a hidden gem with comforting vibe and amazing food - we had enjoyed every bite of it! Had mushroom soup, mushroom risotto, little gem salad and their famous Bolognese. Beautifully crafted dishes, fresh quality ingredients- all around 5 stars! Will be back just for Lovina!

Lunch after a matinee is one of our Holiday traditions- this year it was just perfect. The restaurant was packed with diners waiting for tables lined up at the bar, so thank goodness we had a reservation (on a Monday at 3:00PM- who knew?). Once past that minor inconvenience, everything was absolutely wonderful. We shared the Tortelloni appetizer and even though I am an accomplished Italian home cook, it was the best we have ever had. Then we shared the Jack LaLane salad - partly because we grew up with him on TV and the nostalgia was undeniable- and it was perfect. It had a respectable amount of seafood and avocado and was very large. My husband said his Manhatten was excellent. We left vowing to come back soon and often.

Always great food and service love talking to the students regarding their journey into culinary arts chef restaurant management. They now include a 20% scholarship tip on the whole bill. I believe it should be the option to pay or not or tip less since it is for a scholarship fund and not for the servers.
