The Rabbits is a family friendly gastro pub & restaurant in the heart of the essex countryside. We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. Lovely set menu, food very good,nice sized portions. Karen and lady serving us, sorry can't remember her name, but she was 30 lol, were very friendly and had a lovely chat with us about Fray Bentos pies, outstanding service. Lovely meal.

We had a lovely stay here, the rooms are beautifully decorated and beds far to comfy The food was amazing, the staff lovely and very welcoming would definitely recommend and come again The hotel certainly is 5 star!!

The Thai Curry was delicious I ate everything on my plate. Rice was too small a portion though. I was disappointed that the restaurant did not have Prawn with was on the menu, instead I had to settle for squid in my sauce. Also the menu is too small for such establishment. I thought they would have a wide range of different foods available. Overall it was ok. My server Renee if that her name was outstanding. I will go again this time to experience the Lounge.
