We had an excellent lunch today. My only criticism is the staff at times were too attentive clearing glasses and cups from individuals - it was an obvious selling technique which became annoying as it occurred several times by various staff. Most people can request additional drinks if needed. Based upon your tipping criteria this means higher bills and therefore higher tips if more drinks are purchased.

My partner and I came here for his birthday and we were very pleased with the food, but mostly the service. I had asked them if it was possible to store a birthday cake (context: my partner and I have used the caterpillar cakes as our bday cake every year) to surprise my partner , and they happily approved the request. They were very accommodating! Our waitress was also very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Very impressed! Recommended food: Pizzetta ‘Nduja

The service from arriving to leaving was fantastic as always and the quality of the food was amazing, We had the express menu 3 courses and some drinks with it and it was greta value for money and delicious.

One of the best meals out I’ve had in ages. Blacklock might be my new favourite Manchester restaurant. I loved everything about it - low key, unpretentious but such high-quality. Friendly staff, efficient service. It’s really excellent.

Food was outstanding, waiting staff were amazing! Overall just fab experience we will defo be back!! The sushi was to die for!
