Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. An exceptionally good experience. Three flawless entrees with the crab salad the highlight. Excellent steak. Overall one of the highest quality meals I’ve had in Australia.

Disappointed with the steak advertised as a fillet but was a sirloin and a little fatty for me. The rest in the party were delighted with their choices. Overall a great night nevertheless

What a fantastic restaurant! The food was outstanding as was the service. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. When one of the sides was delayed it was offerred to us as complimentary. Sitting at the bar was so much fun. We could watch all the activities in the kitchen area and had instant access to staff if we needed to request anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone after great food and service.
