For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis (who live right up the street), Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. Yummy cocktails to start. Fabulous dinner: chicory, foie gras walnut salad + octopus + lumache for me. Dining companions had the lasagna, bay scallops, and cobia. All were delicious. Katie recommended a delightful champagne to enhance the first courses. Pammy’s continues to be a gem.

Food is great. I've been here several times and never had the courage to try the uni buccalini. It's very good - think creamy sauce with a hint of the sea, like made with clam broth. Fabulous for a lactose sensitive person! We sat at the bar for the $1 oysters - yummmm!

Sycamore creates consistently excellent food and drinks. Last night's boudin blanc is a treasure -- only prepared in December, and it runs out in early January -- is it a delicate, flavorful white sausage that is like eating soft clouds of umami. So good! Also, the lamb two ways was exceptional -- small rack plus lamb confit wrapped in dark leaves, served on a flavorful couscous. They also happily prepared a vegetarian version of their gemelli carbonara, with chunks of squash and forest mushrooms. Bartender Scott remains a standout -- makes great drinks and is funny and whimsical. Owner Dave was gracious, as always. We have been to Sycamore time and time again, and they never disappoint.
