Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant like Millenium here in the Bay Area. The quality of the food and ingredients are amazing, the creativity in the dishes astounding, and the atmosphere and service fantastic. So grateful to be able to go there.

Acre never disappoints. This was no exception. There was a delay in the kitchen and food was taking longer than usual to come out. We barely noticed because we were with old friends catching up. But the manager came out and apologized and brought us a free appetizer and comped another round of drinks, so we were all good!

Nice place for our group of six to sample several things. We had two paellas and and one order of tapas per person, and it was more than enough. An order of paella would have been more than enough for just two of us.

They open a back room on Friday and Saturday and it was quiet! Our server was prompt at figuring out our needs. The food was excellent and the coffee surprisingly good.
