This traditional restaurant opened its doors in 2009 as a tribute to our grandmother Maria Corona, born in Mexico City in 1917. The history of the Corona family is extremely interesting, dates from the time of the General Ramon Corona who, during the French intervention played a fundamental role in the fall of the Emperor Maximilian. This restaurant is the guardian of the traditional techniques of mestizo cuisine, with flavors and recipes dating back to the times of the Mexican Independence until the beginning of the twentieth century. Sit at the bar, always get the house bread! Cabo Caliente is a lovely cocktail and the espresso martini is top notch. Short rib pizza is my fave but the chicken is the most covertly delicious item on the menu.

Amazing meal with excellent service. It’s definitely pricey but a great choice for a special occasion or for a more fine dining experience vs. other Cabo restaurants. There’s not a lot on the menu for younger children so don’t bring them. Follow the wait staff recommendations on what to order! Good options for vegetarians!
