Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel. “There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. While Bluegold is light, bright, and airy, LSXO is its darker, edgier little sister,” says Vuong. “Both restaurants operate out of the same kitchen, though the menus are completely different.     An Qi is a beautiful restaurant. The ambience and the service excel but the food pushes it over the top! The tuna taco appetizers are so good we almost always place another order! It is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for and I love it there!

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary at their Costa Mesa location this weekend. Reservation was easy via OpenTable. The restaurant staffs were super friendly and attentive. They offered us unlimited FREE Róse. The food were amazingly delicious. Our service staffs, Jordan and Milton, were very attentive, and even chatted with us for a few minutes. Took pictures for us. The decorations were cute, warm and inviting. We had a great time, definitely would return and recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. A 5 Stars experience.

    Wonderful experience! Will be going back. Busy restaurant and a bit loud but the service was fantastic and the food was insane. We started with the oyster sampler and then I got the Wild Alaskan Black Cod with broth and noodles and it was so delicious. Brought our own wine because no corkage!

    Not sure why we waited so long to come here. By far, the best restaurant in Orange County. Everything was amazing. We had the dumplings, shaky beef, garlic noodles and bone marrow. Every dish was super delicious, including the desserts. Amazing cocktails, too!

    We usually sit at the bar so we can order when we are ready, the bar wait staff are excellent, we can also enjoy the entertainment. It’s our once a week Friday night date. We always leave saying what a great evening.
