Located in Hawthorne"s historic Degray house, Bottagra Restaurant opened its doors in early 2008. What was once used as an encampment for General Lafayette's troops during the Revolutionary War has been transformed into a modern, elegant restaurant with the feel and charm of a Tuscan villa. Chef-Owners Robert Vicari and Carlo Carbonaro have fused their extensive restaurant experience together to offer a variety of dishes hailing from both the northern and southern regions of Italy.     This place is awesome such a hidden gem! Great Greek food and prices! The wait staff was on point and made for a more pleasurable dining experience! We will be back! The hummus was a great appetizer! The chicken souvlaki dinners were amazing! Coming back to try the filet mignon! The roasted potatoes are out of this world! Thank you so much for a great date night!

    We were sat immediately for our 6:30 Christmas night reservation. Oyster sampler appetizer was fresh and tasty served with horseradish, mignonette,and cocktail sauce. Generous crab stuffing on grilled shrimp for me and delicious lobster sauce on the lobster stuffed sea bass special for my husband. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with a photo worthy waterfall in their side room. Our server did not rush us and was perfectly attentive. Overall we had a lovely dinner and will definitely be back
