The food and service is always excellent. The menu is extensive giving you a tremendous opportunity to try different dishes. The prices are reasonable. For the restaurant it’s great that they are so crowded but it raises the noise level. Try for a perimeter booth or table. It will allow easier conversation. Great for local dinner out, special occasions and dinner with friends and or family.

Great food, caring service and prices very reasonable compared to NYC popular Greek restaurants. We frequent Varka as often as we can and we have a 20 minute ride to get there but it’s definitely worth it!

This was our first time at the restaurant it was beyond our expectations!!!! Amazing food, great ambiance and great drinks. We will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I took a spontaneous trip to New York with no plans as to where to eat, what we would do, etc, and we landed here for dinner and boy did we luck out! The food was incredible, we had the calamari, arancini, and their potato chips with blue cheese fondue, all of which were spectacular! We had the pleasure of having Justin R as our server, he was fantastic and recommended a wonderful cocktail, the Cucumber Loco (tequila drink). Finally, we happened to get a chance to try the apple tart for dessert and wow! I am not normally a dessert person but this was fantastic. Hands down we would come back again next time we visit the city. The restaurant, the food, the staff and the atmosphere were all amazing!

We had a wonderful experience today— Food, service, waitstaff was exceptional. We will definitely be back!
