Arrived from out of town and went for early dinner to celebrate my local friend’s 65th birthday. Outdoor seating closest to the view were reserved so we opted for indoor seating. Service was great. . Had cocktails first. And calamari. We did the sunset dinner which was a great value. I ordered the clam chowder which was delicious. She ordered the sweet potato soup which she liked but said was very rich so she only tasted it so she wouldn’t get full. It was a bowl of soup so I got pretty full. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Served on mashed potatoes with green beans. They comped an ice cream cake slice with candle. I’d definitely go back with my golf friends when we’re in town.

We thought the “pace” for ordering and serving our meal was very enjoyable. Food is fantastic. Highlight is the Stuffed Avocado starter. Avocado, stuffed with crab meat and spicy tuna, wrapped in very light tempura. Amazing! Ordered a couple of chef’s special rolls. Priceless wrapped with cucumber was really delicious. Basic Rainbow Roll was exceptional because quality of fish and proportion of fish to rice is better than most sushi places. We’ll be back.

Fabulous venue and great food. Everything cooked creatively and to perfection. We enjoyed ahi tacos for appetizer along with edamame accented with lemon garlic dressing. Delicious and I’m not an edamame lover. For dinner my wife and I split beef tenderloin and shrimp with scallops. Everything perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was outstanding too, from insuring our seating was to our satisfaction, to a knowledgeable and engaging server in Marianna. She made sure our dining needs were met and was accommodating to my wine nuances. I’m not easy to please when it comes to restaurant dining and have high expectations for highly rated and $$$ establishments, and Mitch’s exceeded those. We’ll be dining here as often as we’re in Palm Desert.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Nest, and I can’t say enough about how fantastic the experience was. I ordered the sole piccata, and it was absolutely perfect – tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. The staff was attentive and made sure everything went smoothly without being intrusive. From start to finish, the meal and overall experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend The Nest to anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I’ll definitely be returning!

Our 6th Wedding Anniversary at Mastro’s was excellent!! We had delicious food - love the bread basket, shrimp cocktail, lobster mashed potatoes, double-cut pork chop, beef filet - all prepared perfectly. Service was very good. It’s a lovely restaurant in a great location. **There is a large parking lot behind the building as well as street parking and valet parking.
