Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. Dark oak paneling, shiny brass and authentic local antiques create a warm congenial and casual atmosphere. The choice of two comfortable dining rooms each with its own vintage bars make dining and conversation a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Both bars feature a delicious and moderately priced food menu. The menu is Italian with seafood specials such as grilled octopus and dover sole. Saloon steaks and veal chops are legendary. Many prefer a plate of fried long hot peppers to compliment the steaks. All desserts and gelatos are made on the premises daily.     I always have a great experience at PARC, but my Christmas night dinner was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm welcome I received at check in, my wonderful server, Miss Amy’s attentive and fun service, and my delicious meal, this particular visit is one I’ll happily remember. Also, a special thank you for always treating solo diners with respect! It’s for all these reasons I’m a loyal + faithful PARC diner. Looking forward to my next visit!

    We had such an excellent experience tonight. Our server Ryan was knowledgeable and friendly. Made awesome recommendations. We were very well tended to. Food was also outstanding. This was by far the best experience we had at Buddakan.

    This has become out Christmas Eve tradition to have lunch at Craftsman Row. This year we had Marissa as a waitress and she was incredible.

    Great experience, great food! My dad has some food intolerances and they were so accommodating and attentive, it’s minor but was really wonderful they could accommodate. Made sure we knew what was in what dishes and it was super easy to order. Everything was fantastic and surprisingly large portions. Can’t wait to go again.

    We regularly return to Barclay Prime for special occasion dinners. We request Janell as our server. Her service is first rate everything. Food is always great...had the hibachi app this time...excellent. Will continue to dine here based on great food and service.
