Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Food was delicious we had beat salad and crispy potato’s for apps both outstanding. Salmon and the mushroom meals for dinner and both fantastic!

First time in Pittsburgh and wanted to try this place. My 10yo and I had the Beef Wellington for two, it was amazing. The Sargent pepper old fashion was made to perfection. The carrots and potatoes sides were undercooked twice. Still well worth the visit!

Excellent food, polite service, great live singer. Pricey. Brussels sprouts too salty, in contrast to the sea bass which needed some added taste. Beet salad and lamb chops were excellent. Drinks and dessert were excellent.

Beautiful venue, interesting menu, they were out of some things, would have liked to have known that before deciding. But our food was very good. Different but well prepared. Drinks were delicious.
