BCN Taste & Tradition, the name gives a nod to Barcelona and the meld of traditional and modern Spanish cuisine. Chef Luis Roger relocated from Girona, Spain - trained under Michelin Chef Ferran Adria at elBulli- and taught at the renowned culinary school Aula Gastronomica de l’Emporada. Located on a 1920’s era Victorian home in the trendy Montrose/Museum District (4210 Roseland St.). BCN Taste & Tradition will recreate an authentic Spanish style dining experience with unparalleled service. The menu will showcase all the fantastic, cutting-edge haute cuisine that put Spain on the world stage. Credit card info required for reservations larger than 5 guests. A $50/person fee will be charged if you are unable to cancel within 48 of your scheduled time or if your party decreases in size within 24 of your reservation. No fee will be assessed for transferring the reservation to a different name.

Restauranteur Shawn Virene put the POP into Houston with his wildly successful a’Bouzy. This champagne-fueled spot located in the tony River Oaks neighborhood of town attracts a stylish crowd all day. The bar is always bustling and the patio echoes with the cry – “a Bouzy!” every time a bottle is sabered tableside. In fact, most tables will have multiple wine buckets close by, keeping the bubbly cool.     Steak 48 exceeded all my expectations, providing a dining experience that was nothing short of phenomenal. The highlight of the evening was the impeccable service from Ryjane. She was the epitome of professionalism—attentive, knowledgeable, and flawless in her execution. Her genuine warmth and efficiency elevated the entire experience, making us feel truly valued as guests. The food was equally outstanding! From the perfectly cooked, tender steak to the delectable sides and appetizers, every bite was a testament to the kitchen’s expertise and attention to detail. The flavors were rich and beautifully balanced, and the presentation was just as impressive. Steak 48 is the perfect spot for a special occasion or simply indulging in an unforgettable meal. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll definitely be back. Kudos to Ryjane for making the evening truly exceptional!

    We celebrated my Mothers 84th Birthday today at Bistro Menil and high tea. It was perfect as always. Alex was our attentive server and was friendly and attentive. Tea was wonderful.     We had a memorable birthday evening here! Hudson was our server and he was excellent, patient in explaining the menu, and also listening well to our preferences. The result was a great experience. Every dish was unique and so tasty.
