T54 Restaurant & Bar offers modern, Italian cuisine in a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. Husband and wife owners, Massimo Schiavon & Antoinette Borromeo, provide an extension of their home to guests. A few of their signature dishes are Trofie Pesto Genovese, Rigatoni Bolognese and a Pasta on the Wheel. Other delights include a Tuscan Roasted Half Chicken, Grilled Whole Branzino, and a beautifully presented Pot of Mussels. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu. The 30 foot bar that can accommodate up to 14 people for cocktails or dinner, as well as an authentic Italian happy hour - Appertivi from Tuesday - Thursday. The inviting patio provides outdoor dining on weather permitting evenings.     It was a very busy Friday between Christmas and New Year’s, and we were thankful for Open Table and having made reservations! The mild weather brought everyone out to Peddler’s Village and all shops were crowded. The next best part was they didn’t run out of the favorite foods so we could get the specials plus anything else. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere here.

    We had an excellent dinner on Christmas Eve with outstanding service. The prices for for food were quite reasonable, with several entree selections available in the 20s. Bottles of wine were a bit expensive but overall great value and a wonderful evening!

    We loved our early Christmas Eve dinner! The cassoulet was exceptionally tasty, and the angel hair pasta was delish. Our waiter was very helpful, our table pleasant and private: everyone agreed that One53 was a perfect place for our special holiday meal. We’re here from Philadelphia for a few days, and so glad that we are!

    One of the best restaurants in Central NJ. An outstanding chef with innovative interpretations served by an extremely personal staff in a very unassuming environment. We have been dining here for many years and never fail to be surprised by the menu creations . We drive 25 miles to dine here but the distance never stops us. A Hopewell, NJ gem.
