The Folk’s Folly story began in 1977 with unconventional origins, as the best stories often do.Native son Humphrey Folk, Jr. was a prominent and shrewd developer, whose hard work carried him all over the country, cultivating his sincere appreciation of food and fine wine.Undaunted by a complete lack of restaurant or culinary experience, he decided to convert a quaint and intimate house into a small eatery. Great evening! We had requested a certain table location to accommodate for the fact that one of us used a walker, and the staff chose the perfect table. The food was delicious. We had fried green tomatoes, bread and butter, and the.Grouper for one and pork chop for me. Everything was prepared and presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Our server was attentive and efficient. A great anniversary dinner!

It is our favorite restaurant in Memphis. It is consistently good. On the weekends their is a live performer who is excellent. Never thought it could get better, but it has. They changed their menu. We tried 2 of their items and they are both delicious! Still our favorite restaurant!!

Gustavo prepared great food exactly like we ordered it. The fried rice was soooo good. He was very attentive to us and our server was great too! Never ran out of drink and soup salad sushi came out very quickly!
