Great experience from the get. Sat at the bar and served by the bartender, Joe. Very personable and navigated me through the menu very well. It was quiet in the restaurant when I got there and half way through the place was packed. The pork secreto was perfect along with the shishitos. Finished the night with the basque cake which is a must. I have been following this restaurant on Instagram since 2013, it’s my first time to Toronto so I had to stop. Cannot wait to get back here!

The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, offering spot-on wine pairings to complement the meal. For dessert, the tiramisu is a must—light, creamy, and the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Whether you’re here for a casual dinner or a special celebration, Giulietta delivers a taste of Italy that feels both refined and homey. Highly recommend, this was our 3rd visit and many more to come!

Mamakas never disappoints! This restaurant really has it down packed, from the food to the service and ambiance, I would give more than 5 stars if i could! Soooo goood. Well done team.

The antipasti we had was an off-menu carciofi alla romana, with a slightly-too-subtle negroni, and a very proud luxardo special. Fantastic pastas, we had the agnolotti al funghi and it was truly sublime—velvet texture and big flavour. The secondi was grilled branzino, impeccably prepared and served with a perfect salmoriglio. Service was fantastic, paced well, with solid recommendations from our server. Well above average, overall.

Great flavours and great ambiance. The cod and braised beef dishes were our favourites. We also enjoyed the slaw. The octopus carpaccio was very spicy; maybe too much. We devoured the molten chocolate cake, which was one of the best. The dessert sampler of all-time favourites was also enjoyable and a nice mix of flavours The portion sizes were better than expected. One of the most memorable meals we’ve had in years. Would definitely come back.
