Vallozzi's started over 50 years ago when Helen Vallozzi was selling homemade pastas out of her home. Helen opened a take out restaurant in Latrobe, PA a few years later where her popularity exploded. In 1977, Ernie Vallozzi moved his mothers location to Greensburg where it is still open and operating today. In 2012 Ernie's son Julian expanded the tradition in to downtown Pittsburgh. Absolutely awesome experience here tonight! Riley went above and beyond to check on our table to make sure our food and cocktails were good. Mind you, he was working behind the bar. Josh was also working behind the bar and stopped by our table as well to check on us. It wasn’t exemplary service! The food was fantastic also. We’ll be back soon.

Food and service were excellent. Onion soup one of the best I ever had. We had the special which was a 16 oz. bone-in rib-eye - cooked perfectly & finished with a gorgonzola glaze . Topped off meal with delicious creme brulee . Server very attentive.
