Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. I can’t believe that we walked past this place for three years before we decided to go in. Such a cool unique atmosphere! Service is fantastic with such a friendly welcoming staff and food is amazing! Definitely will give El Vez a run for their money. Do yourselves a favor and visit this fantastic little restaurant in the heart of Washington West. If you’re a fan of Mexican food, you’ll be an even bigger fan after eating here!

Food was great, our waiter was attentive and we were not rushed. We unknowingly ordered guacamole that was $33 and we were only two people so that was a bit of a sticker shock - and unnecessary because it was way too much. Other than this, good experience.
