Alternatively, you might choose The Adult Arnold Palmer, blending chilled black tea with TreeHouse Vodka and subtle notes of hibiscus and lemon. Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles. We also provide a selection of craft cocktails and mocktails, as well as sparkling and still wines. Our kitchen is completely gluten free (and oat free). We are independently owned and operated.

Our new Lexington Tea Room is a beautifully appointed and welcoming space located just off Massachusetts Ave on the corner of Muzzey and Raymond St. Enjoy teatime with friends in our bright, sun filled tea sanctuary.     I love high tea! It is one of my favorite splurges! BHH is my favorite in Boston! They do a beautiful job. We actually took a goodie box home, we couldn’t finish all of the treats. Additionally, the people who work there are professional and kind and make you feel like you are the only person on the room! I highly recommend this high tea experience!

    We went for the high tea, and it was fantastic! More than we imagined...just lovely. Our waiter was so helpful. Even brought my mom a piece of birthday cake with a candle since we were celebrating her birthday!

    Food is unique and very good. Amazing how the small bites fill you up. Such a wonderful experience with and peace of mind for gluten free food. And great options for other food allergies and preferences as well

    Three friends and I visited recently just to enjoy an afternoon being together. The place is lovely, the woman who waited on us couldn’t have been nicer, and the tea and food were delicious and more than adequate. We were disappointed that there was only one other couple in the place. It seems like a hidden gem that more people should discover!
