Inspired by the literal “captain’s quarters” of 17th century ships, guests will be transported to a luxurious and moody adventure on the high seas. Captain’s Quarters will feature a star cocktail list devoted to various explorations in gin cocktails. For non gin lovers, Beverage Director, Eric Johnson has put his innovative twist on various cocktails concocted with Rum, Mezcal, Bourbon, Tequila and Vodka as well as a small beer and wine selection. In addition to fine spirits, SDCM Executive Chef, Brian Redzikowski has put together an adventurous yet approachable menu which will range from elevated tidbits such as Manchego-Prosciutto “Sandwiches”, Burrata Donuts & Papa's Braves to more substantial fare including Captains Quarters own Double Double. We had the most memorable and incefibke experience! Austin took brilliant and practiced care of us—his Dealer’s Choice drink, incoming an elote liqueur, was GOD TIER. Just an incredible experience. We can’t wait to return!

Food was good, service was good. If I had to say one thing, the back little dining room is nice, but we found ourselves competing with the noise of washing dishes and flatware being dumped from a bin repeatedly. Too noisy

Came in on a Taco and Tequila Tuesday with a great special featured tequila from Dobel. This was a great night for quieter dining -- no big crowd or music -- but still great food and service, plus got to try the new Crystalino from Dobel that is very smooth and got deals on cocktails made with it too. We could easily converse at our table and enjoy ourselves with good food and drink. What is not to like about that ?

The food was amazing, and the service was great. Visited Firehouse 21 next door to get a few T-shirts as well. Great location. We will be back during our next trip to San Diego
