Café Berlin has been serving authentic German cuisine on Capitol Hill since 1985. It occupies the ground floor of three townhouses whose front yards serve as Biergarten for outdoor dining. The interior features a small bar and two cozy dining rooms. The restaurant is located within a short walking distance of Union Station and the U.S. Capitol. We live in Los Angeles, CA and it's our first time in DC. We had Thanksgiving Day dinner at The Hamilton and it was perfect. Our waitress, Ash, was patient and attentive. Food serving portions were generous and tasty. The ambience and decor is modern yet classic, simply wonderful.

My dinner companion and I both had the salmon entree. It was terrific.....cooked to perfection, along with the vegetables and rice. I would order it again in a heartbeat. It was outstanding and very well presented.....and at a very good price.
