In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.     Service was good, everyone had a delicious meal but some of the table ordered one of the specials and the serving was very small. Other than that it was a fun night with good food.

    We had a six person dinner and enjoyed each course one after the next. The specials were thoughtfully prepared and we found ourselves sharing and complimenting the creativity of the menu. Dylan our server was knowledgeable, classy, and timely. The wine list was well curated. An additional note of enjoyment was choosing some of our favorite songs for the talented musician to play on the piano while we dined. Excellent all around.

    We chose The Ebbitt Room to celebrate Christmas! The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. We had the king salmon, the cioppino and the lamb shank. All 3 entrees were very flavorful and nicely plated. For dessert we shared the donuts and cinnamon ice cream. Both were enjoyable. The Ebbitt Room is one of Cape May’s finest restaurants!
