Renowned Orange County restaurateur David Wilhelm, along with longtime partner Gregg Solomon, purchased this iconic location in the heart of charming downtown San Juan Capistrano overlooking the Jewel of the California missions. The menu features many of his signature classic comfort foods such as his Famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken, French 75's Onion Soup, and Whiskey Shrimp Dijon, featured at his Tavern House Kitchen+Bar in Newport Beach. The Raya experience begins and ends with valet parking. Everyone from valet, reception and food server Javier were friendly and amazing. Long time Raya patron and will continue to invest my time at Raya. One small concern, the agua chile was more of a seafood cocktail, is not agua chile by any means therefore was not what I expected. Overall experience was amazing. Thank you so much for all you do.

The staff always makes us feel so welcome. José was very attentive and patient with our talkative group. The trout special was delicious and we were warm and toasty on the front patio. Love Luciana's!
