Yoshi's has served Japan's best traditional dishes to Bay Area patrons since 1972. The menu highlights artfully arranged sushi, fresh grilled seafood, classic Japanese dishes, and vegetarian fare. At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The attention to detail are evident in not only the food they make but also the ambience they have created. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls. An elegant chandelier hangs over a natural wood backed booth providing both a cozy and elegant feel to the room.     I've been to Yoshi's many times, but this was my first time dining in the restaurant. The service was great. Our server, Robin, was outstanding. The food was great as well. I had the Kuro Ninniku Angus Ribeye, and my wife had the Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon. We also enjoyed the Snow Monkey Sushi Rolls. It was a great experience overall!

    The service was a little slow m and kids menu was extremely limited. Overall the food was extremely delicious and well prepared. Everything came out hot and fresh. The chef even came around to the tables and spoke with everyone. I highly recommend.

    I love roses on Adeline. The ambience is so quaint - we had mushrooms, beets soup ,ceviche and two fun cocktails- the waitress was so nice. We had a beautiful evening. I recommend this restaurant.

    We had a wonderful experience enjoying holiday tea at the Claremont Hotel. It is a pricey treat, but we really enjoyed every minute. The rainy day outside made the vibe even more cozy and comfortable. Food was lovely and enjoyable and varied. Tea was really magical! Hope to do again someday.
