An exceptionally stylish supper club, civilized speakeasy, a sophisticated saloon. Each of these "personae" is housed in a soaring two-story interior distinguished by a gently curving mahogany bar, fluted columns with ornate capitals, stunning original art, plush banquettes, cozy booths, starched linens, glittering glasses, and polished flatware. I had not been in many years…but I remembered the food was great…and it still is. We were two…she had a salad, a soup and a chicken dish…she loved them all….I had the scallops scrudo…tender and mild for those who eat raw shellfish….the pork chop was outstanding, my drink was the last kiss…wonderful. Thank you to our primary server Maria for her guidance. Everyone was attentive…not overbearing. A beautiful dinner was had.

As usual, “ checked all of the boxes” Bix is the consummate special evening dinner out - up scale atmosphere and ambience, classic bar, epicurean delight,attentive service, live, cultural music … a great experience.
