My friend and I like to try new restaurants and Kestrel did not disappoint. We also order things we haven't had before which included: Pistachio Old Fashion, Desert Sunset and, Crab Hashbrown. I thought Thommy was wonderful. He read the table, he was engaging, light and fun. I would poach him if I owned a restaurant. He was knowledgeable of the menu and steered us in the right direction as we like to share everything. The Pan Roasted Seabass was cooked perfectly and was also a highlight. The Date Carrot Cake was over the top delectable. It was sticky and sweet and full of flavor. A large piece we could possibly finish after everything else we had but, we will fight over who gets to take it hoe and have it with their coffee tomorrow. My only "huh" moment was realizing the Desert Sunset Cocktail was $24 (more than any glass of wine on the menu). I just don't feel that price fits the Craft Cocktail experience. Hats off to you Blais and Team!

So glad that we discovered this place on Christmas Day whole visiting Palm Desert. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Great service too!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience dining Christmas Eve at Vicky’s! The Chilean Sea Bass and Rack of Lamb our group ordered were cooked to perfection, as were all side dishes. The ambiance was so festive with live entertainment in the background - it really made this the perfect choice for our special evening … Vicky’s is one of our favorite places to dine in the desert and has been for over 30 years now… we recommend it any time of the year!

Thank you for the reserved table by the music. Our server was excellent and adorable in her Xmas Eve onesie. Band was awesome. Food was delicious. Thank you for such a memorable time with my family.

The food here is consistently outstanding. We love the tempura green beans and bacon wrapped dates as appetizers. This time we tried the short rib gnocchi and the potato crusted petrale sole. Both were delicious! The heirloom tomato salad was amazing. My husband has a hard time passing up the meatloaf. Of course, the coconut cream pie for dessert is a must.
