The bar program will follow the same philosophy with seasonal and fresh new ideas and ingredients.HistoryEstablished in 2018.The restaurant's name draws from the history of the Main Street building it's housed in, known as the Copeland Building. The historic building, which is on the list of Los Altos Historic Landmarks, originally housed the city's post office.

Named for Capri, a culinary crossroads for Mediterranean-Rim cuisine, Cetrella's 22-year fine dining appears in Gourmet Magazine, MODERN LUXURY Silicon Valley Magazine, among others. The dining room's atmospheric Venetian plaster colors evoke sea and sky, sand and cliffs, foliage and forestry, opening to a Spanish-tiled Paseo, teaching kitchen and underground speakeasy. Cetrella's Executive Chef Vincenzo Vottero leads the culinary team preparing innovative seasonal dishes including signature artisan pastas. Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, where he was born and pursued his culinary career, was in 2022 voted Conde Nast Traveler Reader's most delicious city in the world.     Another lovely evening at Cetrella. Great food carefully prepared and presented. Delicious kale salad to start and the chicken and vegetable lasagna for entrees. Excellent service and a perfect ambiance to boot.

    We went with my family of four on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and the servers were very attentive. I am always looking for new places to dine. I have already started thinking about what friends I can bring and introduce a new restaurant to that is close to home!

    Our first visit here. The menu is extensive. Dishes we tried very good, seabass with a flavor rich vegetable stew, dayboat scallops with a mushroom risotto. Presentation of the food was gorgeous, including fresh flowers on the plates (orchids this time)!. The interior is beautiful with dramatic light-scaping, tall ceilings, pops of color, yet serene. Table service was attentive. We had a lovely evening and will return.

    Wonderful service, great homemade food. Tomato soup was delicious. Our server a young man with blond hair was attentive and confirmed our order so everything was correct. Will be back!

    Charming atmosphere, incredible food, and personal service. This small little gem is authentic. Live guitar added to the ambiance. We had the pork chop and the filet, both extremely tender and cooked to perfection. Can't recommend this place more.
