Had some of the best food I’ve ever eaten at Fork. The service was excellent and they went out of their way to offer recommendations to us while visiting Philly. Recommend it to anyone visiting who doesn’t want touristy vibes.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a meal that would become a journey of flavors. This Trattoria exudes charm and warmth, offering a cozy, intimate atmosphere perfect for any occasion. The open kitchen concept steals the show, with tables lining the kitchen, giving diners a front-row seat to the culinary artistry as chefs craft each dish with precision. The inviting scent of fresh ingredients fills the air, adding to the experience. Downstairs, the beautifully designed basement seating area feels like a hidden gem—romantic, rustic, and full of character. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while delivering a dining experience you won’t forget. Bonus: it’s BYOB, so you can pair your favorite bottle with an unforgettable meal! The food was excellent, home made and well thought out. The combination of fresh ingredients and innovative recipes was nothing short of incredible.

Roxanne’s New Chapter is Even Better Than Before! Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Roxanne in its new location, and let me tell you—it’s a revelation. While the original spot was already exceptional, this new chapter elevates the experience in every way. The tasting menu strikes the perfect balance of honoring beloved classics while introducing bold new favorites. Longtime fans will be thrilled to see signature dishes like the scallop and duck make a triumphant return, each as flawless as ever. But the new additions are equally dazzling—particularly the rigatoni, octopus, and scallop, each a masterclass in flavor and technique. And then there’s the cheeseburger. Magical doesn’t even begin to cover it. Imagine all your expectations of a burger, then multiply them by ten. The genius behind it all is Chef Alex - an original in every sense. Her creativity is matched only by her warmth, making the dining experience feel both elevated and personal. She’s not just redefining what great food is—she’s redefining how it feels to enjoy it. If you haven’t been to the new Roxanne, run, don’t walk. It’s a culinary triumph that honors its past while paving the way for an even brighter future.

Glad we made Open Table reservations. This place is always crowded. Every table is taken. This time we had Leo to be our server. And like all the rest, he was very good and professional. Everything was great as usual.

Food and service were outstanding. Prices were a bit high for a chain restaurant. I know all about inflation, but the wine and menu was very pricey.
