every time we eat at girl and the goat, i fall in love all over again. the food is creative and always delicious. the ambiance feels so cozy and casual, intimate, and like a warm hug. i love that i celebrated my 40th birthday here at the king’s table and then, 10 years later visited for my 50th birthday and tho we sat at a different table, had a repeat visit from the same server - GARY!!! definitely try the steak in citrus dressing, the pork belly in crabmeat sauce, and always the pig face. always always the pig face. and the crumpets in the pate order. my GOSH so good

Great experience. We started with the bite size apps: delicious. We then had the oysters: outstanding. Next was the Caesar for two: not my favorite. Too much lemon and way too much anchovies. Next time I would definitely ask for very little lemon and no anchovies or maybe one smashed in the dressing. We ordered filet mignon with the mushrooms and mashed potatoes- outstanding! This was one of my top five dining experiences ever! We got kitchen counter seating which I love- being right in the mix and chatting with the chefs is my jam! Cocktails were on point but the food…. I mean come on!!!! We had zucchini fritters, a butternut squash filled pasta dish that had this amazing rich and subtly sweet sauce, roasted beets with this crazy pop of pomegranate and risotto with a taleggio fonduta that I will be dreaming about for a very long time! Bravo, rose mary- you killed it!!!!

Service is always impeccable and quick. On this visit, we were provided a complimentary taste of an umeboshi digestif and a N/A Arnold Palmer-type digestif. That made this visit extra special. December special was especially delicious!

Very friendly staff and good service. Delicious coffee- I bought beans to take home. The bakery goods are wonderful and it’s fun to watch the bakers in the separate open kitchen by the front windows.
