In 1943, on the corner of Ohio and Wabash in downtown Chicago, Uno Founders, Ike Sewell and Ric Riccardo, created the original and legendary Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza.     We have a great meal at Pizzeria Portofino! Our server, Lydia was excellent. She was friendly and prompt and made sure to ask about allergies. She was extremely accommodating with helping us choose a custom, off menu pizza for our kids. She even brought the chef out to meet my son when he told her the pizza “was the best pizza he ever had”. The food was very good and came out quickly! Over, very welcoming and friendly—we’d definitely go back again!

    One our of favorite places to eat, we again were not disappointed. We all ordered off the special menu tonight, and we all loved our dishes. Our server was super attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is nice for a night out with just your significant other, a group of friends, or even kids (we brought our 15 and 8 year olds). We have never had a disappointing experience here and will be back.
