Roberto Paciullo’s hometown of Salerno is transported to the streets of Manhattan. Zero Otto Nove is the second outpost of his famous restaurants from Arthur Ave. in the Bronx. From the atmosphere to the food, stopping by Zero Otto Nove is taking a quick trip to Italy. The wood-burning brick oven is at the center turning out classics like the Margherita, and Roberto's originals, such as La Riccardo with butternut squash puree, smoked mozzarella, spicy pancetta, and basil. All the pastas are homemade, and all ingredients are brought in from New York's Real Little Italy, Arthur Avenue.

Our brick, wood burning, oven was handcrafted by a 3rd generation Neapolitan oven builder, brick by brick. After 22 years, Paolo Alavian has closed his iconic Soho restaurant "Savore" and replaced it with Altesi Downtown. Altesi Downtown is outpost of Altesi Madison, his Upper East Side townhouse restaurant. Locally sourced seasonal ingredients will be used in traditional Italian dishes, which will be served alongside small plates including Salumi and cheese platter served on cutting boards, panini and pizza from the wood-fired oven.     It was amazing we went for a friends birthday and she loved it !!! Overall a great time, wonderful staff, the music was always on point, belly dancer was beautiful, the food was impeccable we all had ordered something different and it was all delicious. We will definitely be coming back for another occasion.

    We’ve been here a couple times & decided to bring my Mom here for her birthday tonight. Just have to say- This place ALWAYS impresses! Never can you find a place where both the food & the service are outstanding, & where the price is reasonable. I’d made a request with my reservation a day before, & when we walked in, they had it set it for us! So grateful for another great experience here! And to see my mom so happy! :)

    Fabulous experience & Excellent service/ambience. From the moment we got seated, all staff and Sophia specifically made us feel very welcome and ensured we understood the vegetarian variations of the delicacies. Absolutely loved the truffle pizza and the tiramisu and had to order a second one before the night got over. Will definitely recommend and revisit ourselves.

    We enjoyed our experience so much! It was our first time. The service was great and so was the food. So many choices and each dish beautifully and tastefully prepared. A great value as well. Plus the live music on a Saturday night made it truly festive. Thanks for a great evening with friends. We can’t wait to come back!
