In 1943, on the corner of Ohio and Wabash in downtown Chicago, Uno Founders, Ike Sewell and Ric Riccardo, created the original and legendary Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. They combined authentic Italian recipes with the finest meats, spices, vegetables and cheeses and baked them in a unique and delicious deep dish crust, creating a hearty pizza like no other.     Great. Love it. But the menu has been failing. Pork. Pork Duck Pork Lamb Pork Beef Chicken Pork This needs to change… Or I’ll stop going. I’ve been a customer since WOOD opened. This menu is no longer acceptable It’s really unhealthy. Salty. Terribly unwelcoming for many diet limitations. It’s lame to be a Pork menu. Almost offensive from a culinary welcoming perspective.

    My first time going to Avec. I was surprised by its small footprint. I sat at the bar and had a great meal just with two appetisers. It was happy hour so drinks and some snacks were discounted. Enjoyable experience, would recommended it to anyone looking for an intimate environment and excellent Tapas.

    One our of favorite places to eat, we again were not disappointed. We all ordered off the special menu tonight, and we all loved our dishes. Our server was super attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is nice for a night out with just your significant other, a group of friends, or even kids (we brought our 15 and 8 year olds). We have never had a disappointing experience here and will be back.
