A modern American restaurant in Navy Yard where Executive Chef Reid Shilling serves his take on seasonal cuisine highlighting ingredients from around the Chesapeake region. Experiences include a 7-course tasting menu (served exclusively at the Chef's Counter), a 3-course prix fixe menu, an a la carte menu, and a weekend brunch menu.The 7-course tasting menu is seasonally driven and changes regularly offering guests a front-row seat to the open kitchen. Enjoy an expansive offering of Chef Reid Shilling’s regularly changing culinary creations and seasonally-inspired dishes, all prepared with a hyper-local approach to sourcing.     The French onion soup was absolutely incredible. I have been searching for a good French onion soup to rival that of a restaurant near my college campus in Philadelphia for over 30 years and finally found it. The fried chicken was amazing. It was actually better than fried chicken I’ve had in Asheville from a place that specializes in good fried chicken. The care and attention they give to preparing the food as rival only by the care and attention they give to guests. The staff, which is friendly knowledgeable and accommodating, is a big asset. The owner also cares greatly about his guests’ experiences. I will go back soon to try some of their other dishes.
