   Service was excellent as usual. Unfortunately the quality of the food was not up to past levels of excellence. I had the meatloaf-it was cold and dry without much gravy. The polenta was cold and hardening at the bottom. It was downright cold. It was if the plate was left on the counter before it was served. Very disappointing and not what I usually expect for this restaurant.

   We love Firefly, the ambiance is great, the staff is friendly, the food is excellent and they can safely do gluten free.

   One of the best dinner experiences I've had at a restaurant in a while. My guest is gluten free and I'm vegan and they suggested and prepared the most amazing dishes. The dessert (the sticky banana cake with ginger ice cream) was probably the best vegan dessert I've ever had at a restaurant. Also, the service was outstanding. Can't wait to go back soon!

   Firefly is wonderful! The food is always delicious. It’s a perfect spot for vegans and omnivores alike. They have a really nice wine selection, and everyone who works at Firefly is great! It’s the best spot in the neighborhood!

   Ate here for dinner on a Wednesday and there were a lot of seats available at 6pm. We made reservations anyway. Service was prompt and helpful in the beginning but as the hours passed on we had to flag someone for the check. We had crab cakes and coconut curry soup for appetizers which was excellent. Husband ordered Moqueca Baiana of rockfish which he truly enjoyed and said it was delicious (side note: he is very hard to please). I read that the chicken was a big hit to order here but mine arrived warm at best. Biscuit was good but better hot. Ambience was great- ample lighting from sunset to evening and bathroom was only 1 stall unisex but waiting was not an issue. Restaurant was not hard to find, parking was a bit tricky (typical sf) but once u go at 6pm there was a lot of availability. I think this was great for a 1 time experience.

   This place is spectacular as always. Cozy, good vibes local neighborhood spot. Service was thoughtful, food was outstanding, and the unique wine list was great as always. Ready to return already!

   We went for our anniversary. We started with the cheesy asparagus, I had the fried chicken, and the hubs had the meatloaf. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The wine pours were also generous. Service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely go back.

   Firefly is consistently one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area - and anywhere! The flavors are incredible, the service is stellar, and they’ve got a great drink selection. Firefly is a great option for a date, work dinner, friend dinner, and special occasions. And it’s also easy to find parking nearby - which isn’t the norm in SF.

    I hadn’t had meatloaf in ages and decided that a little comfort food sounded good. It was better than I could have imagined. Would highly recommend it.
