Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar is Charleston's Best Waterfront Dining with a focus on local and sustainable produce and seafood. Housed in a 1940s retired naval building on the east side of the Charleston peninsula, Fleet Landing features a fusion of classic and contemporary Southern seafood fare in a setting that celebrates the area's waterfront heritage.

We take reservations and invite you to make them as far in advance as possible, as they fill up weeks in advance. We always invite walk-ins to join the waitlist when you arrive. If there is no availability on OpenTable, we are fully committed for reservations, and you are invited to join the waitlist when you arrive. For groups of 5-10, please give us a call at 843.722.8100. Larger groups are usually booked several weeks in advance. The largest group that we are able to accommodate is 10 guests. Please note, we do require your full party to be in the building in order to be seated at your table.

    Preferred parking is in the flat lot to the left of our building, located in front of the Cruise Terminal at 196 Concord Street, and parking is $5 for guests dining at Fleet Landing (credit card only). The lot is accessible via the sidewalk and our boardwalk. Parking is also available in the city garage across the street and several parking meters on the street. The rate is $2/hr, but parking in either the garage or at a meter is free with a handicapped placard.

    The Downtown Area Shuttle Waterfront loop runs from Waterfront Park (half a block away from the restaurant) to the Aquarium and the visitor's center every 40 minutes from 9:20-6:00.

    The food was amazing. I purchased the shrimp and grits. It was the best version of both shrimp and grits. The service was great. I recommend making a reservation just to make sure you don’t have a long wait. I loved going at lunch time.

    The food was just so/so. NOT nearly as good as we had anticipated and not up to what I consider Charleston standards. We had she crab soup, seafood pasta bowl, and fried seafood platter.

    Most notable, excellent service! Nice waterfront location with good views. Blue crab dip is delicious and plenty to share. Great selection of local beers. Crab cake and fried seafood platters are well-prepared, delicious and nicely portioned. Good downtown location on the harbor.

    Fleet Landing was the best tasty food in all of Charleston. My favorite is the fried shrimp, and I love their key lime pie. The service is always the best. Thank you for providing such a great place to dine in Charleston. I did not even mention the great water views.

    I had the shrimp and grits and the seafood platter with fish and shrimp. Everything was delicious but the shrimp and grits rate #1 or a close 2nd to the shrimp & grits I’ve eaten. The collared greens were also among the tastiest of the restaurant greens. Overall I enjoyed my valentine’s dinner at The Fleet. My husband and I were seated on the outside enclosed porch and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the Ashley River and Waterfront Park.

    Our server Abby was amazing, thank you! We have been going to Fleet Landing for years and felt like the food has gone down a bit, that being said it was still very good and we will continue to dine here.

    We had a reservation and were seated at the exact time on our reservation. Each person in our group of four ordered a different entree. We are all more than satisfied with the taste and amount of our meal. Our server, Mary, was very friendly and answered all of our questions about different items on the menu. She was as attentive with eater refills and checked on us throughout the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
