Fontina Grille, in the King Farm, offers the best of the best when it comes to oven-fired pizzas, fresh fish, gourmet pastas, bountiful salads and sandwiches. The granite bar divides two dining areas. To the left, a full service carry out counter offering everything from pizza and pasta, to ribeye steak and Lavazza coffee and cappuccino. To the right, the casual but elegant dining area can seat about 125 people, with a back area for semi-private parties and corporate events. Fontina Grille also offers private and corporate catering, with a variety of options to suit any budget.

    We have been to Fontina many times and it is a very popular (and very crowded on Friday night - with as many tables as possible crammed in very close to one another.) There were 4 of us and on the whole, the food was good though much more expensive than it had been. The chicken dishes that were ordered were very good. I ordered the seared tuna salad and it was not good. It wasn’t bad enough to send back but I was very disappointed. The tuna tasted “fishy” and did not seem very fresh and it was just sitting on a bed of lettuce and carrots.

    On a busy holiday night, they were able to seat us ahead of our reservation when we were early. The staff was attentive and accommodated an indecisive preteen:) Mussels, crab cakes, rollentini, Alfredo, arrabiatta, bruschetta, as well as a wood fired pizza were among the orders. All were delicious. If you’re in the Rockville area, you can’t go wrong with this place!

    We have eaten here many times and never had a meal that didn't come piping hot and delicious. The portions are amazing and it is hard to find a restaurant that includes a salad with dinners in addition to hot bread with oil and parmesan dip to start. The manager, Jad, pays attention to what is happening in real time and makes certain things go smoothly. The noise level is a problem but not enough to keep us from returning. Vacarro's cannoli's are out-of-this-world!

    I have been coming to the restaurant for 30 years, we love the food and service but the prices have gotten very high. I understand all about COVID and Bidenomics, but it’s time to start lowering the prices. They could start by offering specials or happy hour prices, etc. Thanks

    Always fantastic! Brought friends who had never been and they loved it too. Being from NJ I’m very picky about Italian food!! Delicious !

    The best Italian food in Montgomery county by far. Incredible service, great food, and the right restaurant to take a large group for a multi course meal and experience.

    A great place for a holiday dinner... Excellent Italian cuisine, and the kitchen has no problem changing up sauces/pastas/ proteins to suit to taste... always feels like an occasion, but a good value as well...
