Chef Pat Pascarella gives respect to his Italian culture by milling his own grain for both our house made bread and house made pasta. Owned by brothers John-Thomas and Christopher Scott, Parker's on Ponce is Decatur's first independently owned steakhouse. The Scott family has always been extremely involved in the local community, including local government. The restaurant is named after John-Thomas' 12 year old daughter, Parker. The whole family is often seen at the restaurant - it is not a business to them, but a home - and they treat guests of the restaurant as family as well.

    Very lively place especially on a Monday night. The service was amazing it was our first experience there and the waiter made sure to be patient and answer any questions we had. I would say be sure to have a reservation tables were always full. The food and drinks were amazing I got a dirty vodka martini which was very good. Me and my husband shared pasta and pizza and it was the perfect amount of food for us. Would most definitely be back!

    We ate an early dinner here on a dreary Sunday night. Parker's on Ponce was warm, cozy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Angel, our server, took excellent care of us. We started with nice glasses of wine. The rolls were sourdough and more flavorful than the standard rolls they've had in the past. I enjoyed my entree of trout with broccoli and rice pilaf. I took half of it home because it was too plentiful to eat in one sitting. My husband enjoyed his grilled octopus appetizer, along with two sides as his dinner - collard greens with bacon and roasted potatoes. He took home most of his potatoes because it was a huge serving, probably meant to share with the table. We got the bread pudding for my birthday dessert, and it was warm and delicious.
