Really great service and attentive staff. At least five different people waited on us and manager checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. Most dog friendly place I’ve experienced, with even a separate dog menu. My Frenchie loved it and got a ton of attention and care from staff.

Never disappointed when dining at Cafe Cruz…we were celebrating our anniversary and were offered a complimentary glass of bubbly…the mahi mahi was cooked to perfection and I think they have the best salad menu in Santa Cruz.

Had family dinner night at Back 9, the food was delicious and they accommodated my dad’s vegan diet very well!

I found this little gem quite by accident. It's a tiny restaurant ( maybe 10 tables, half of which are two seaters), but they make up in excellence what they lack in space. I was surprised to see a full menu with a wide variety of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. They even start the meal with a tasty lagniappe of frio mashed potatoe balls with a delectable dipping sauce. The meal was excellent (I had the wild salmon) and I will definitely be back to further explore their diverse, tantalizing menu. Dina was my server, And she was as efficient as she was friendly. So happy that I happened upon this little dining jewel in Santa Cruz.
