    We enjoyed our Valentine’s Day lunch at Garre… our food was outstanding! I had the salmon…. We also enjoyed Pinot Grigio plus the apricot bread pudding to top it off! We will return… Garre has a varied menu, excellent wine selections and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere…

    Nice and comfortable ambiance. Everything else was just average. Seafood pasta and short ribs tasted bland.

    This particular visit was very good. We had attentive service and the price point was very ok. The week before this particular experience was not so good. There was only one other couple in the dining room and they were trying to get the waiter’s attention and we had not even been greeted by him. It was close to 10 minutes before our drink order was taken and we didn’t find out that one menu item wasn’t available. Why not tell us that when we were seated? I ordered my salad with dressing on the side. Not a difficult request - dressing mixed in. Not to mention that dinner price point is considerably higher than lunch for the same item. The icing on this cake is we were asked if we wanted bread, we said yes. We didn’t know the same bread that is served with lunch for free costs dollars at dinner.

    We’ve been to Garre Cafe several times and the food and service is consistently very good! Our go-to menu items usually include the spinach and artichoke dip, the fried olives, tri-tip sandwich, grilled cheese with pesto, cajun chicken sandwich, pizzas for the kids… always delicious. The sangrias are made from scratch. The sauvignon blanc was ordered “not too sweet” and came back a home run but forgot to ask which label. We enjoyed the sunshine on the patio. Recommend!
